Huat kuey

It's pai pai time! After mike miku, I wanted to steamed huat kuey for pai pai tonight! However, my huat kuey cannot rise! So sad

Flour 200g
Water 100g
Sugar 100g
Stir and add coloring. Stir again and add eno.

Eno 1 packet. I bought from guardian, 0.65 cents.



Japanese curry rice

Our lunch today! I cooked for mum and decided not to put any meat for her!

I just boiled the carrots, onions and potatoes for 10 mins and added the curry cube. And our lunch is ready :)

I don hv red color, i used wilton peach color. This made my miku/s not that nice. However, the taste is good.

450g flour
20g vege oil
215/220g water
7.5g instant yeast
7.5g baking powder
105g sugar

Roast chicken with vege

After baking the butter cake, i decided to roast a chicken for family. Yummy!!

Tada!
To add salt, black pepper, garlic chop, olive oil and wait for 1 hour then put in the oven with brocolli, carrots and usa bb potatoes. Lunch is served after 45 mins! Fresh from oven!!

Butter cake

I asked hubs yesterday night and he said butter cake. Since i' m so so free on a beautiful sunday, okay!

Butter 250gm
Sugar 160gm
Vanilla essense 1 tsp
Baking power 2 tsp
Milk 4 tsp
4 eggs
Cake Flour 250gm
Choco powder 2 tsp

Beat the butter with sugar
Add egg and essense.
Fold with flour and milk
Pour half of the mixture to cake tin and another half mix with choz powder

Choz chiffon cake

我偶然地看到这,心想我家也有全部材料。。嗯,就开始吧!
当明天早餐!


份量:9寸圆模一个

材料:
A
鲜奶 80g
沙拉油 60g
无糖可可粉 10g
低筋面粉 70g
细砂糖 20g
盐 1/8t
蛋黄 80g

B
蛋白 150g
细砂糖 50g
柠檬汁 7.5cc (我没有放,家里没有货!)

做法:
1. 鲜奶,沙拉油,糖,盐依序倒入钢盆混合均匀,加热至100度左右将无糖可可粉过筛入锅中拌匀。
2. 低筋面粉过筛,加入做法1快速的从中间往外围轻拌均匀之后,再加入蛋黄拌匀(此为A钢)
3. 蛋白加入细砂糖,柠檬汁,用电动搅拌器打至全发(此为B钢)。
4. 先取B钢部分蛋白至A钢用混合器稍微混合再倒回B钢。,由下往上快速翻拌均匀,倒入模型,轻敲让空气排出。
5. 放入预热烤箱,最底层,170度,42分钟。

Chicken porridge for lunch

As usual, i woke up early at 6am. Today is a better day, at least im not as early as last few days. After having breakie with hubs, i took out the chicken from fridge. Time to prepare my lunch, yes! Early lunch, haa!


White bread for breakfast

I bought the bread flour from tesco and i wish to try to bake the bread! I have no specific recipe. I just follow the steps on the bread flour box!

500g bread flour
Yeast 5.5g
Water 320cc

** i forgot to mix oil. I missed out this. That's why the bread looks like cake, haa!! Feedback from hubs!

焖鸡蛋面

I received 2 packs of egg noodle from my mum in law during guo da li this early year. I have no idea how to cook this! Today, i woke up too early, again! So i tried to cook this noodle as breakfast for my family.

Ingredient:
Egg noodle 500g
Water one cup
Oyster sause 2 tp
Soya sauce 2 tp
Dark soya sauce 2 tp
Meat
Meatball

I just anyhow dump everything i have in this dish. I think it would be better taste if i have mushroom :)

Birthday lunch for mum!

Urgent order- for bb girl ^^ diaper cake

I was in jb this afternoon and one of my friend sms me for new order. She needs to collect tonite. So, i have to rush back home and prepare for her :) anyway, i had early bday celebration with mum and family. We went to the same korean bbq shop again :) mum looks happy with the dishes!^^


I did it again! Love the peach color! Yums macaroons!

I brought mum for early celebration. And i baked a cake for her! But, she is sleeping now, so i got to show her tomorrow morning!

Finally, I saw the feet ~~ macaroons!!


I woke up at 4am today. I wanted to prepare choz macaroons for our friend gathering. However, I failed again. I will upload the cracked macaroons soon.

After the gathering, I decided to try again. I tried 2.5 trays and first tray failed due to the new oven. I'm not used to the function and temperature. I set 150* with fan mode. The macaroons are cracked again!

I still have another tray to try and I reduce the temp to 145*, fan mode. I saw the feet!! Omg, I'm so happy! But, it was not perfect, the color was a bit off :(

Well, I still have the last half tray haa! I used 140* fan mode and the macaroons look nice and.no more Cracked!!

This is not easy! But, I will try again :)

Diaper cake for old friend - fresh from oven ~~

Initially, i made two tiers cake for her baby boy! Since so many ppl would like to share the gift, i built another tier for this cake.
Total cost is sgd130.00. Hope the mama and baby like it! ;)





New toy arrived!!^^

Finally!! I decided to place the new oven at my small kitchen. Looks weird as my kitchen is white theme but this bulky oven is black colour! I have no choice, i have no space for it as my house is too small :)
