Pork floss buns

I love baking in the evening. After the dinner haa haa!

Hubby used to play online games after work. I have to find something to do, in fact he is happy too so that I won't kacau or nag him. I always ask him to quit from those online games. But, u know, he won't listen laa!!!

Same method again

Milk 230g
Instant yeast 12g
Salt 8g
Milk powder 8g, I forgot to add again!
Bear flour 400g
Maple syrup 80g
I didn't apply egg on top of the buns.
Add everything and beat with low speed.
Keep in oven for 45-60 mins. You will see a double size of the mixture.
Roll into small balls and keep in the oven again. Wait for 20-30 mins.
Take out from the oven and add pork floss as filling.
Wait for 30 mins again.

Preheat the oven at 170* and bake for 15 mins!

Tada^^

Dinner time

I had a good nap today! And I was so lazy to prepare the dinner for only both of us. Alas, I forced myself to cook dinner too! Hee! I'm a home maker now, no excuse not to cook right? Haa haa!!

Hubs loves xiao bai chye. So, I must cook for him frequently hee. I'm not so into this vege, I don't like the taste. As usual, hubs would say.. Haiya.. Everything also don't like, so picky so choosy..l but I do love vege k!

We went giant tampines last night as we have nothing to do at home. Thus, I bought medium sized prawns and his vege :)

I chopped the prawns and mixed into the flour that I added water. Add an egg too! And I fried it! I was so careless that I accidentally deleted the pics! So, no pic for the dish.

Lastly, I fried the fish cake that I bought in NTSC. I promise myself, no more fried stuff for dinner anymore! My diet plan is still on going!~~

Butter buns

I'm not so into buns but my hubs does! Since I'm not working at this moment, I wish to practice my baking skill :)

Butter buns are not difficult to make, just need to practice more :)

Bread flour 250g
Fine sugar 35g
Instant yeast 1tsp
Salt half tsp
Milk 110g
Egg 1 pc
Egg for topping
Butter for filling

Add all together and beat using low speed.
Keep in the oven for double size of it.
Take out from then oven after an hour and you will see the bigger size of it.
Roll into small balls and keep into the oven again and wait for 30 mins.
Take out from oven and make two holes by your finger and fill with butter. Apply egg on top of the bun and apply sugar as much as you like.

Before oven-ing :)

German cookies

This is super easy! I prepared and baked the cookies just within an hour!

Potato starch 125g (sifted)
Icing sugar 40g (sifted)
Buttercup 125g
Top flour (super fine) 80g (sifted)

Beat the butter and icing. Add flour and starch.
Roll into small balls and press by fork. However, i used the piping bag to pupe and press by fork. It's sticky and soft. I couldnt roll it.

Preheat 150' and bake 20mins!

How to wash the blueberries

I used to pour some cornstarch to wash away the dirt on the skins. Add water for few minutes.
