Huat kuey again

I going back my hometown two weeks later. Time flies, time without dad is torturing. But we wont say anything as mom is recovering now. Mum looks better if compare to last two years. This trip is mainly for dad. I wish to make my own huat kuey for dad. And tonight, i practised again!


Water 125g
Instant yeast 1 tsp
Self raising flour 150g
Sugar 50g
Butter 1 table spoon

Recipe for 5 cups!

Add butter and flour first, follow by yeast, sugar and water. Stir well and put aside for 30 mins. Divide to 5 cups and steam with high heat for 15mins.
